Our Story

MASSERIA DEL GECO is located in a town outside Taranto and bears the name of the geckos that also like to make their home on our family farm. Designed and built by the youngest of the Renò brothers, the farmhouse is the epitome of Mediterranean charm and offers a haven for those who want to spend a vacation or experience the olive harvest in a family farm surrounded by olive, lemon, orange and clementine trees. Just a stone's throw from the crystal-clear Ionian Sea, MASSERIA DEL GECO is an intense experience in the heart of nature. Our house is a testimony to our constant commitment to the preservation of traditions and offers authentic Apulian life.

Giovanni

Giovanni, the founder of MASSERIA DEL GECO, is the youngest in the family and is particularly keen to preserve the tradition and beauty of Puglia and show his home town to the world. He looks forward to welcoming guests to the farm and invites everyone to experience the warmth and tranquillity of MASSERIA DEL GECO. He speaks Italian, English and German. In addition to Giovanni, the other family members help to run the farm.

Olive Harvesting
